Jesse Beaton
Jesse Beaton has had a steady climb in the motion picture industry, learning the ropes both at studios and in the realm of independent pictures. The experience served her well when she became an independent producer in 1988 and she has gone on to be associated with director Carl Franklin on several of his projects, notably his debut film, "One False Move" (1992), the HBO miniseries "Laurel Avenue" (1993), and the 1995 Denzel Washington vehicle based on a mystery by Walter Moseley, "Devil in a Blue Dress." (Beaton and Franklin are partners in Monarch productions.)
